1. The agreement
These terms apply to every hire of a campervan from Juiced Campers ("we", "us") by you, the person named on the booking. Making a booking means you accept them.
2. Booking and payment
- A booking is confirmed once you complete the checkout — either by paying the total price, or by securing the booking with a payment card to be charged as agreed before your hire.
- Prices are per night as shown at the time of booking (low, mid and high season), with a minimum hire of two nights. A service fee and any optional extras you choose (awning, solar shower, portaloo, dog charge) are itemised in the price breakdown before you pay.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
3. Cancellation [to confirm]
- Cancellations more than [X] days before pick-up: [refund policy].
- Cancellations within [X] days of pick-up: [policy].
- If we have to cancel (breakdown, damage by a previous hirer), you choose between a full refund or rebooking on alternative dates.
4. Drivers and insurance
- The van comes with fully comprehensive insurance and unlimited mileage.
- Drivers must be named on the hire agreement, hold a full valid driving licence and meet our insurer's criteria (age and licence-history limits apply [insurer's exact criteria to confirm]).
- You must tell us about any points, convictions or accidents when booking — the insurer requires it, and not doing so can invalidate cover.
5. Pick-up, return and fuel
- Pick-up and return times are agreed when booking, from our base near Junction 28 of the M25 (Brentwood, Essex).
- The van leaves with a full tank and should come back with one.
- Late returns can incur a charge if they affect the next hire [amount to confirm].
6. Your responsibilities
- Treat the van as your own for the week: no smoking or vaping inside, no festival face paint on the upholstery, and dogs only when booked with the dog-friendly extra (bowl included).
- You are responsible for parking charges, tolls, and any fines incurred during the hire.
- Off-road driving, racing, towing and taking the van outside mainland UK without written agreement are not permitted.
7. Damage and breakdowns
- Check the van over with us at pick-up; damage present at handover is noted so you are never blamed for it.
- New damage during your hire is your responsibility up to the insurance excess [amount to confirm].
- The van has UK breakdown cover; the number is in the van pack. Call us first if anything at all goes wrong — most things are fixable over the phone.
8. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. We are not responsible for losses that are not caused by our breach of these terms, or which were not reasonably foreseeable when the booking was made — including festival tickets, ferry bookings or campsite fees for a trip that cannot go ahead.
